project: mindscapes
the art is silent until eyes land on it.
the interpretation is a way to tell its story.
there’s a lot of different ways to see.
all equally important.
your perspective is unique by default,
designed to serve your purpose in life.
your way of thinking and feeling, your experiences and your path is your journey towards your wisdom, which can provide specific information that only you can share.
share it, your voice matters.
by sharing your perspective in an art interpretation, you connect with yourself in the truest form, that is detached from expectations or correctness.
differentiated interpretations create a broader view of the same image.
mindscapes is a container of multiple individual perceptions to visualise how a single object can be observed from many perspectives. each perspective brings out something that others don’t.
you are a part of collective narrative.
when you meet different points of view, how does this confrontation feel like?
by unconscious reaction, it may lead to tension, denial or judgement. the feeling of threat arises.
it doesn’t have to be this way.
if we reflect on others’ perspectives without judgement, we learn from each other.
we let others — and ourselves — be.
challenge yourself.
one perspective is never enough to deliver the truth. living under one standardised way of thinking leads to a miserable and predictable world. if we don’t challenge ourselves by confronting with different point of views, we get stuck in a bubble of stagnant perception. there is no room for evolving. validating various perceptions enriches our experience and creates more inclusive world.
seeing differently does not mean being wrong.
i hope to honour the freedom of speech, empower critical thinking and reclaim the inner knowledge and intuition. i encourage to broaden the horizons by meeting different perspectives and to sensitise us to each other.
your voice matter.
everyone is welcome to share an interpretation that will be displayed under the illustration.
the aim of the project is to honour all personal opinions and embrace them as equal.
acceptance
opening up on unlike opinions can give a healing effect on many levels of societal and individual relations. it sparks curiosity and expansion of own horizons, counteracts social divisions, which leads to acceptance of what is.
in return, we feel seen and heard, too.
